Abstract
Sections of a research work based on digital image processing oriented to obtain granulometric distribution curves in dry bed of mountain rivers are presented. The procedure focuses on the localization, extraction, analysis and post-classification of the particles of sand and gravel present in a mestra of alluvial material.
