Abstract

Lighting is a fundamental aspect that must be taken into account in machine vision classification systems;
The efficiency and performance of the system depends on the correct choice of this. Depending on the application,
an adequate lighting technique is required to obtain a correct image for further processing. Currently, thanks to the
development and research in this area, the construction of increasingly robust and reliable classification systems is
achieved. This article shows the experimental evaluation of three lighting schemes that are implemented, studied and
validated in a machine classification plant based on machine vision.
