Main Article Content
Abstract
The accelerated advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has transformed various areas of knowledge, including education. In particular, the use of AI-based tools in the scientific research process poses new opportunities and challenges for teaching. Given this scenario, it is essential to promote pedagogical practices that integrate these technologies in a responsible, ethical, and effective manner. This document aims to propose good teaching practices for the ethical use of AI tools—such as ChatGPT, Research Rabbit, SciSpace, and Scite.ai—throughout the different stages of the research process. The conclusions recognize that the ethical and responsible use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Scite.ai, Research Rabbit, and others represents a significant opportunity to strengthen teaching competencies in scientific research, as well as the key role played by teachers as mediators in the use of these tools to transform experience into meaningful learning in the scientific research process.
