Abstract

This research study shows the design of educational software to reinforce preschool students’ learning about the concept of location, having as a reference the environment and local space in which learners move and develop. This process is done through educational activities related to the contents designed for that purpose. The software application is established to determine the knowledge appropriation about spatial location. In this sense, it is possible to highlight technology as a process that radically advances around humanity, enabling the attention of students and teachers’ needs. In these terms, the software proposed provides the student with knowledge and information about daily livelihood skills. Considering the results produced by the pilot test, it also requires some changes in terms of didactic elements to get the use of its potential when implementation.
