Technological education in the face of rising tertiary education in Colombia

Abstract

Global economic policies, driven by multilateral in recent decades bodies pose economic development goal of nations that joined the worldviews of our leaders, make demands on our country which become educational policies that are not easily harmonize with the regional and national educational reality. One of these policies focused on targeting than short forms of training education, to which this article presents the evolution of the institutional framework and the current state of technology training versus tertiary education system recently established by the national government.
